Welcome to Chalfont St Giles Pre-School Playgroup, we are a charity supported childcare organisation set in the rural village of Chalfont St Giles. We are Ofsted registered and able to provide care for up to 22 children per session.

Our beautiful park and woodland setting enables us to provide a unique learning experience for children aged two to four years old, based around indoor and outdoor play,

We have multiple teaching and learning areas, which enable us to provide a range of activities throughout the day. We have a main classroom, which joins onto a spacious playground, which is sheltered for all weather and completely secure. A large cabin and a recently renovated garden and mud kitchen hut. Our location inside a large recreational park also gives us access to use the local facilities which include, a playground, tennis courts, playing fields and wood area, which we take full advantage of.

Your children will be exposed to a range of activities, which will be changed throughout the day to help children develop and learn education and life skills through play. Our curriculum  encourages our children to learn new skills and the confidence to make their own decisions of how they play and learn, with the aim to get them school ready. Our curriculum is planned and structured following the guidelines provided by the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.

Monday to Friday	Afternoon Clubs
Full day session 9:00am – 3:00pm	PFO Football Club – Tuesday afternoon sessions
Morning session 9:00am – 12:00pm	Forest Tribe Friends – Thursday afternoon sessions
Morning session including Lunch Club 9:00am – 1:00pm
Afternoon session 12:00pm – 3:00pm

Children are provided with a wide variety of healthy snacks and refreshments throughout the day.

All of our teaching staff are qualified and experienced childcare providers (see meet the team for more information).

The organisation, the teaching staff, all fund management and fundraising activities are managed by a committee which consists of a team of trustees with an invested interest as we are all locally based families and our children attend the pre-school.
